Vacation Reads Challenge

I always think of books as a way to travel to other places which is why Ruby Read's Vacation Reads Challenge appealed to me. The challenge is to read 6 books featuring places you would like to visit, real or imaginary.
1. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
2. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
3. The Bookman by Lavie Tidhar
4. A Bride's Story 1 by Kaoru Mori
5. Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson
6. Honolulu by Alan Brennert

Books to Movies Challenge
I am currently reading a few books that have movies coming out, so I thought I should join Two Bibliomaniacs' Books to Movies Challenge. Since I have to both read the book and watch the movie, I am going with the lowest level, Straight to Video (2 books/movies).1. The Help by Kathryn Stockett

All-Male Review Challenge
I love the title of The Unread Reader and Logan E. Turner's May-long challenge: The All-Male Review. It's an open ended challenge, as long as you link up at least one review with a male protagonist or written by a guy during the month of May:
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
2. Trevor's Song by Susan Helene Gottfried
3. The Cypress House by Michael Koryta

YA LGBT Paranormal Challenge
As Huntress is next in my TBR pile (and because I think this is a great topic for a challenge), I decided to join Mission to Read's YA LGBT Paranormal Challenge. As I do only currently have the 1 book on my shelf, I am doing the Just Curious level (1 book).
1. Huntress by Malinda Lo

Once Upon a Time Challenge
I love books that have a "once upon a time" feel, so I was absolutely giddy when I saw Stainless Steel Droppings's Once Upon a Time Challenge. This is a three-month challenge, but there are many ways to participate. Even though I love these type of books, I can only think of one on my immediate TBR shelf that fits, so I am going to do The Journey (at least 1 book).1. Huntress by Malinda Lo

Cozy Mystery Challenge
What? I'm signing up for another challenge! I love cozies and the Cozy Mystery Challenge is only a six-month challenge, so I thought why not? I only have one currently in my TBR pile, so this will probably be an epic fail, but I'll try the Only Required Amount level (6 books).1. Missing Persons by Clare O'Donohue
2. Absolutely, Positively by Heather Webber
