Thoughts: This definitely starts with a bang, but then the story slows more than I would expect for a mystery. Cork does try to find who shot his friend Jubal to clear his own name but he goes about it much slower than I would expect. The flashbacks to their childhood are nice and definitely add to the characterization, so those are an assured plus.
