Eastern Europe Reading Challenge Recap

I knew the Eastern Europe Reading Challenge was going to be hard, which is why I only signed up for the Tourist level (4 books). Once this month is over, though, I will have only read half that. I probably won't do this one next year, but I might try for the Mediterreanean one. Here's what I have completed so far:

City of Thieves

Title: City of Thieves
Author: David BenioffPublisher: Plume
ISBN: 978-0-452-29529-2
Why Read?: For Fun
Challenges: Eastern European, 100 Books in a Year
Thoughts: I really had no clue what I would think of this book when I started, but I ended up loving it (despite the one chapter where I had to put the book down and give my dog a ton of hugs and kisses). Benioff writes a wonderful period piece with an amazing mixture of humor and raw emotion. Definitely a must-read.

Eastern Europe Reading Challenge
I can only think of one book I have ever read that was by an Eastern European author, so the 2011 Eastern European Reading Challenge from The Black Sheep Dances is going to be quite a challenge, even at the Tourist (4 books) level.
1. City of Thieves by David Benioff
2. The Chalice of Immortality by Erica Kirov
3. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
4.
